Licensing

HMI Forge license keys are node-locked to each controller. Please reach out if you have a major hardware change and require a new license key.

Licensing process:

1. Send SUMMARY.DG from a file backup
2. Receive license key
3. Enter license key when the license gate shows up, the first time you open the Editor or Runtime

Note that the key is entered once per controller. You can use HMI Forge on the controller via the tablet TP or iRProgrammer.

How to get the SUMMARY.DG file

1. Place an empty USB stick into the UD1: port of the controller
2. Menu > Expand All > File > File
3. [Backup] > Diagnostic > ALL (All of the above will grab it, and good to have!)
4. Send SUMMARY.DG from your USB stick
