HMI Forge documentation

Install, license, and operate HMI Forge on a FANUC controller.

HMI Forge is a no-code HMI editor and runtime for FANUC robot pendants. Screens are built by dragging controls onto a canvas, binding them to robot I/O and system variables, and deploying them to the controller — the same document the editor shows is what an operator runs on the floor.

  • Installation — prerequisites, install steps, and how to confirm the plugin came up. Check the controller software version first: HMI Forge requires v9.40P/65 or newer.
  • Licensing — how to obtain a license key and enter it.
  • Troubleshooting — what to check when the plugin, the editor or a USB stick misbehaves.

Every released version and what changed in it is listed under Release notes.
